In her Bharata-Natyam, Gayathri exhibits a natural talent for expressiveness . She also has musical ability which is complementing her dancing. Gayathri displays an inner beauty in her dancing and has also a very dramatic ability. Her technique has an attractive flow while retaining the crispness of line and symmetry.
Apart from participating in the annual Nrityanjali shows, she has danced in
Bhatatalya concerts Regenerations
in 2009, and in Tandava Tour
de Force also in 2009, both with the Jambudvipa Ensemble. Gayathri is selected to perform at Australain National Folk Festival at Canberra during 2010.
Gayathri performed her arangetram in 2009. She was enrolled at the

was a student at the Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Melbourne where
her interests lay in Business Studies. She received the award for Victorian and Tasmanian School Entrepreneur
of the Year in 2006. She played an active role in many school drama productions
and out of school productions. She was selected and participated in the VCE Season of Excellence for
Theatre Studies monologue in year 12. She was also active in the school
debating, cricket and softball teams, as well as in the Indigenous Awareness
Group. She is currently a second year student in the Bachelor of Commerce course at Monash University. Gayathri featured in the
English film 'Taj' and a documentary.
